History
Bellevue Park was built in about three weeks in spring 1923 at the end of Main Street, after the Packers lost Hagemeister Park to school construction. The Packers played two seasons there, going 9-2-1 in NFL games, before moving to the new City Stadium in 1925.
Local and semipro baseball continued at the park until 1928, when it was demolished for commercial development. The site is part of the Packers Heritage Trail.
Why it matters: Home of the Green Bay Packers in 1923-1924.
