Images & Intellectual Property

We publish an image only when one of these applies: it is in the public domain, it carries a license that permits our use (such as an appropriate Creative Commons license), or the rights holder has given permission. Every published image is credited with its author, source and license.

When a venue has no usable image, its page shows an illustration instead. We don't use images copied from search results, news sites or social media without permission.

Submitting photos

You can submit photos you took or have permission to share. Submitted photos are reviewed before they appear.

Photos on your share cards

A photo you add to your own share card stays on your device and is not published on Lost Stadiums.

Reporting a problem

If you believe an image or text on the site infringes your rights, email hello@loststadiums.com with the page link and details, and we'll review it promptly.
