History
Southland opened in 1956 as Arkansas's only greyhound track and was bought by Delaware North in the early 1970s. After voters approved Amendment 100 in 2018, it became a full casino in 2019.
The operators announced that racing would end by the close of 2022, and the last race was run on December 31, 2022.
