History
The Volusia County Kennel Club was established in 1948 on a site next to what became Daytona International Speedway. Delaware North acquired it in 1987, and a poker room was added in 1997.
A land swap with the speedway allowed a new facility to be built in 2008 a few miles away on Williamson Boulevard, where racing continued.
