History
The San Antonio Missions played at Mission Stadium, on Mission Road south of downtown, from 1947 through 1964.
Minor-league baseball left San Antonio after 1964 and returned in 1968 at V. J. Keefe Memorial Stadium. The Mission Stadium site is now a parking lot for an office complex.
Why it matters: It was San Antonio's minor-league ballpark for 18 seasons.
