The windswept Candlestick Point stadium was the Giants' home from 1960 to 1999 and the 49ers' from 1971 to 2013, and was demolished in 2015 after a farewell concert by Paul McCartney.

Frank Youell Field was a temporary stadium near downtown Oakland where the AFL Raiders played from 1962 to 1965. It was demolished in 1969 for Laney College parking.
